Cummins Power Generation, Alpha Energy, Aztech Associates, Inc.

Cummins Power Generation

Minneapolis-based Cummins Power Generation recently announced the purchase of the generator set assets of Terex Corp., Westport, Conn. The agreement, effective January 22, increases Cummins Power Generation's rental business capabilities through expanded production operations in its Fridley, Minn.-based facility.

Alpha Energy

Phoenix-based Alpha Energy recently was recognized by the Southeast Pennsylvania Chapter, Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Association for installing a 1MW elevated solar racking system on a major auto auction facility in northern New Jersey. During ABC's 19th Annual Merit Construction Awards of Excellence, the electrical contractor on the Alpha Energy project, the Tri-M Group, LLC, was named an Excellence Winner in the Best Specialty category (Electrical Under $1 Million). ABC recognized Tri-M and Alpha for the outstanding design, engineering, innovation, and workmanship that went into the facility.

Aztech Associates, Inc.

Kingston, Canada-based Aztech Associates, Inc. and Elster, Raleigh, N.C., recently announced the launch of an in-home display (IHD) enabled by Elster's EnergyAxis system. The Aztech IHD communicates with smart meters through Elster's EnergyAxis advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) network, providing homeowners with current energy usage data.
