Falcon Electric moved into a new facility in Irwindale, Calif. The new facility was built with energy-saving techniques, including the installation of skylights and water-saving appliances, as well as more efficient lighting, heating, and cooling systems.

Coopersburg, Pa.-based light control manufacturer Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. recently announced its association with The Demand Response and Smart Grid Coalition (DRSG) to develop compatible products and help raise awareness of how lighting demand response activities can easily stabilize the grid. The DRSG communicates the opportunities in building the Smart Grid infrastructure and practices that will update the national electricity system and change the way customers best use electricity.


Reading, Pa.-based EnerSys, the world's largest manufacturer, marketer and distributor of industrial batteries, recently announced that it has selected First American Vendor Finance to launch EnerSys Financial Solutions.

EnerSys Financial Solutions will allow customers to finance the EnerSys products they require, with the convenience of fixed monthly payments. Additionally, once a master lease is in place, EnerSys customers have the flexibility to upgrade and add on to their systems with very little paperwork.
