Convia, Ford Motor Co., Integrated Electrical Services


Convia recently announced its partnership with Sylvania Lighting Services (SLS). The partnership will help Convia customers meet energy-management goals by giving them access to Sylvania’s technicians nationwide for commissioning and maintenance services.

Ford Motor Co.

Ford Motor Co. and Portland General Electric (PGE) recently announced a collaboration to help prepare the City of Portland, Ore., and the Pacific Northwest for the operation of electric vehicles. Ford and PGE will work together to share information on charging needs and requirements to ensure the electrical grid can support the necessary demand for electric vehicles, as well as partner on consumer education outreach around electric vehicles.

Integrated Electrical Services

Houston-based Integrated Electrical Services has been awarded a contract from Alliance Construction Solutions, Cheyenne, Wyo., to upgrade the electrical systems at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. IES will install incoming electrical services, generators, and emergency equipment to enhance normal power service and upgrade the medical center's existing emergency power systems. The project is expected to be completed in November 2011.
