Rosslyn, Va.-based National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) has published ICS 3.1-2009, "Guide for the Application, Handling, Storage, Installation, and Maintenance of Medium-Voltage AC Contactors, Controllers, and Control Centers." This publication, last revised in 1997, provides information regarding the application, handling, storage, installation, and maintenance of AC general-purpose, medium-voltage contactors and Class E controllers. The guide has been updated to reflect changes in technology.
