According to a recent report from the Los Angeles Times, approximately 3,000 construction workers are set to continue their work on the Los Angeles-based SoFi Stadium, the new NFL stadium scheduled to open in late July, despite a colleague being diagnosed positively for COVID-19.
“If they want to get the stadium done, they need to provide something to minimize the risk of exposing anyone,” an electrician told the Los Angeles Times. “It doesn’t take much to realize how big this [problem] could be.”
Everyone is a little nervous, notes a second electrician, “but we need the money.”
