2020 EC&M Top 40 Electrical Design Firms Survey Now Open

It’s that time of year again – time for EC&M’s 2020 Top 40 Electrical Design Firms survey.

 Every year, we send out this survey electrical design firms that have participated in the past or might be interested in filling out the survey for the first time. EC&M invites any interested electrical design firm to complete the survey, which will be used to determine the rankings of EC&M's 2020 Top 40 Electrical Design Firms. Scheduled for publication in our June 2020 issue, this list ranks the top players in the electrical engineering field by electrical design services revenue from 2019.

Again this year, we’ve tried to make it more convenient and easier for you to respond to the survey by making it available online. Please follow the link below to fill out the survey by Friday, April 17:

Please keep in mind that although the numbers change every year -- sometimes drastically, depending upon which firms respond to the survey as well as what kind of year they had — there is always a minimum total revenue figure that determines the cutoff (so not everyone who fills out the survey will be included in the list). For example, in 2019, the No. 1 firm came in at $857 million, and the No. 40 spot cut off at $6.6 million for electrical design revenue – the cutoff for No. 40 in 2018 was $6.3 million and the year before that it was $7.4 million.
