The CounterAct line of commercial ultraviolet (UV) disinfection luminaires from Christie is designed for use in cinemas, theme parks, museums, sports complexes, and other indoor spaces. The luminaires feature the company’s mercury-free, narrowband filtered Care222 excimer lamps that emit far-ultraviolet-C (far-UVC) 222-nm light, which continuously reduces pathogens like coronaviruses and can be used while people are present, when operated within specified parameters. Features include fast instant on/off at full output power, and the ability to be controlled remotely and installed in ceilings like a commercial luminaire.
