In this episode, Russ runs across an interesting wiring connection for a roadside sign. Someone ran unsecured liquidtight flexible nonmetallic conduit (LFNC) from the sign down to some type of strange plumbing pipe connection near the ground. The clear violation here is the lack of supports for this conduit. Sec. 356.30(1) requires the conduit to be securely fastened at intervals not exceeding 3 ft and within 12 in. on each side of the box or fitting. What other violations do you see?
