According to a recent edition of Code Alert from the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), the Massachusetts Board of Fire Prevention Regulations (BRPR) voted on December 5 to approve a recommendation by the Massachusetts Electric Code Advisory Sub-Committee to accept the 2020 National Electrical Code. The promulgation process should be complete to allow for a Jan. 1, 2020 adoption date.
