Colorado Adopts 2020 NEC

July 1, 2020
Adoption goes into effect August 1, 2020.

According to a the June 26th edition of Code Alert from the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), the Colorado State Electrical Board recently updated Rule 1.2 of its Code of Regulations, which includes the adoption of the 2020 National Electrical Code with no amendments. It will become effective on Aug. 1, 2020.
