NFPA Makes Corrections to Sec. 314.17 in the NEC

Errata No. 70-20-5 corrects the reference in Sec. 314.17 in addition to the reference in Note 1 of Tables C.5 through C.13.

In Errata No. 70-20-5, issued on April 5, 2022, the National Electrical Code Panel 8, Panel 9, and the NEC Correlating Committee note the following errors in the 2020 edition of NFPA 70, National Electrical Code.

1. Correct the reference in Sec. 314.17 to read as follows: 

314.17 Conductors Entering Boxes, Conduit Bodies, or Fittings. Conductors entering boxes, conduit bodies, or fittings shall be protected from abrasion and shall comply with 314.17(A) through (D)(C).

2. Correct the reference in Note 1 of Tables C.5 through C.13 to read as follows:

Table C.5 Maximum Number of Conductors or Fixture Wires in Liquidtight Flexible Nonmetallic Conduit (Type LFNC-A)
