Correction
The editors of Power Quality Assurance Magazine were alerted to the following error:
The February 2001 article by Jim Giordano, “Multi-Purpose Circuit Monitors Capture Voltage Transients,” referred to a 1.2×50-ms, 2000V impulsive transient (page 22).
It should have read “1.2×50-microsecond” throughout. The sample rate information given remains correct.
