VRLA batteries

Oct. 7, 2013
An addition to the QUINT UPS-IQ product line, this VRLA battery operates in temperatures from -40°C to 60°C.

The QUINT UPS-IQ line now includes a valve regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery that can operate under temperatures ranging from -40°C to 60°C. According to the company, the product performs up to five times faster than standard VRLA batteries, with a 5-hr buffer time in even the most taxing conditions. With pure lead absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology, the battery safeguards itself against acid spills and offers a life of 10+ yr, depending on the conditions under which it operates. When used in conjunction with the family of QUINT UPS-IQ products, the product allows users to monitor other performance activities, such as the state of charge (SOC), state of health (SOH), and state of function (SOF).
