    Gen-set

Designed for standby, prime, and load management applications, this mid-range gen-set meets U.S. EPA Tier 4 Interim emissions standards. Powered by the company’s Cat C15 engine, ratings for the 60-Hz package are 500kW (standby) and 455kW (prime). According to the company, the product features an advanced emissions control on the engine that lowers combustion temperature, achieving decreased NOx output. Optional weather protective and sound-attenuated enclosures are also available.

    Portable generators

The Generac XP Series of portable generators features impact-resistant cast-metal corners and a heavy-duty hardened-steel tube exterior. Integrated handle supports and brackets are engineered as part of the casting for enhanced durability, and an integrated lifting eye facilitates transportation and security on job sites. Additional features include full-panel GFCI protection that is OSHA- and NEC 2011-compliant; idle control to conserve fuel and reduce noise; a large-capacity steel fuel tank with a fuel gauge; covered outlets; and an easy-to-access control panel that includes engine choke, fuel shutoff, and an on/off switch.

    Diesel generator

The Kohler 300kW industrial diesel generator features a high-power density, EPA-certified, John Deere 9.0L PowerTech E generator drive engine. The generator offers a choice of Decision-Maker 550,
Decision-Maker 3000, and Decision-Maker 6000 controllers. In addition, the product features enhanced access to customer connection
points, a compact enclosure with weather- and
sound-attenuated options, and a low profile with in-skid fuel tanks.

    Portable generators

The Industrial Series of generators consists of the EB4000 (replacing the existing EB3800), EB5000, EB6500, and EB3000C — a model that incorporates the company’s CycloConverter technology. According to the company, the CycloConverter model offers power equal in quality to automatic voltage regulator (AVR) generators but is lighter in weight because traditional parts have been replaced with a central processing unit (CPU), eliminating the need for an alternator. In addition, each model incorporates the company’s redesigned iGX engines. Power output has been increased in each model.
