The NETcat Pro2 (NC 500) is a digital wiring troubleshooter for voice, data and video (V/D/V) cables, wiring, and service. The tester enables users to identify active network devices on 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet (802.3) networks and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) cables. In addition, the product includes a Memo Pad with reminder feature stored in non-volatile memory as well as a field replaceable “F-”type connector. When used with the company’s NC-510 accessory kit, the product can test coax or twisted pair jacks from a central location eight at a time.
