LED recessed downlight retrofit

Aug. 8, 2013
The 8-in. commercial LED recessed downlight is available in 26W and 34W configurations; features 2,700K, 4,000K, and 5,000K color temperatures; and offers an L70 life of 50,000 hr.
Designed as a replacement for fluorescent incandescent and metal-halide downlights, the 8-in. commercial LED recessed downlight features a short piece of flexible conduit attached
to the downlight’s quick-connect case in order to make the line voltage connection to the existing recessed housing. Once the hardwiring is complete, the LED engine and reflector are simply attached to the quick connect, and then installed to the existing housing and secured by pressure clips. Suitable for ceilings ranging from 8 ft to 12 ft in height, the fully dimmable product is available in 26W and 34W configurations; features 2,700K, 4,000K, and 5,000K color temperatures; and offers an L70 life of 50,000 hr.
