The Model 6292 micro-ohmmeter features a cooling system that the company says improves the number of sequential tests (and the duration of the test) that can be performed. Offering unlimited test duration at 100A and below, up to 120 sec test duration at 200A, the meter includes programmable and manual test current selection from 5A to 200A. In addition, the water-resistant unit performs tests normally or with both sides of the switchgear connected to the ground. Additional features include: direct viewing of stored tests on the instrument’s large LCD digital display, resolution of 0.1 µΩ, the ability to measure low contact resistances from 0.1 µΩ to 1 Ω, the capacity to store up to 8,000 test results, a USB communication interface, and direct printout using DataView software and a PC.
