Integrated Ceiling Trough

The new ceiling trough system provides a clean, flexible way to integrate lighting, HVAC, MEP and architectural elements into a coordinated ceiling design.

Axiom Design Troughs are an extruded aluminum ceiling solution that helps architects, designers, and contractors integrate lighting, HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP), and architectural details within the ceiling plane without compromising design intent. According to the company, the product gives design teams a clean, specifiable solution for running lighting, MEP, HVAC, and architectural details through a single, refined channel with standard profiles, corners, and intersections, plus custom sizing for projects with unique requirements. Available in standard white and black fiishes, the solution offers a range of standard components to support coordinated ceiling layouts, including: four profile options (2-in. × 4-in. Design Trough, 2-in. × 6-in. Design Trough, 4-in. Face Plate, and 6-in. Face Plate); standard 2-in. depth with 4-in. and 6-in. trough width options (custom height and width options available); 90-degree corners, 3-way, and 4-way intersections for complex layouts; field-cuttable components for on-site fit; and integrated boss channels for discreet clip and splice plate connections.
