Smart Level 2 Residential EV Charger
Schneider Charge is a smart Level 2 residential EV charger designed to simplify installation for electricians while helping address electrical capacity limitations in existing homes. The hardwired charger delivers up to 11.5 kW/48A and is available with either NACS (J3400) or J1772 connectors. Its integrated SmartAmp load-management technology continuously monitors household electrical demand through included current transformers (CTs) and automatically adjusts charging output as loads change, eliminating the need for separate monitoring or gateway devices. The system supports managed-load installations under UL 3141 where accepted by the AHJ and can continue managing loads even when Wi-Fi is unavailable. Additional features include a 25 ft charging cable, OCPP 1.6 compliance and a mobile app for monitoring, scheduling and control.
