Guide Helps Companies Develop Electrical Safety Program
Enform in Canada has announced a new guideline and safety resource for managing electrical safety, "Electrical Safety: A Program Development Guide." The guideline is designed to help companies identify, assess and reduce the risk of exposure to electrical hazards in the workplace through the development and implementation of an electrical safety program, within their occupational health and safety management system.
“The new program development guide makes a significant contribution to worker safety in the oil and gas industry. "The Electrical Safety: A Program Development Guide" provides companies with a framework for developing an electrical safety program and outlines how companies may use this guideline to perform a gap analysis on their existing preventive and protective control measures. The guideline includes templates, processes, tools and additional resources to improve existing programs.
