Electrician Dies in Fall at Dallas Convention Center

The electrician was working on a lighting system for aircraft navigational aid on the roof of the building.

An electrician working on the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas died Thursday after falling 40 ft from the building's heliport, according to a report by the Dallas Morning News.

The report said the worker was employed by the Dallas Department of Aviation and was working on a lighting system for aircraft navigational aid on the roof of the building.

Attempts to revive him after the fall were unsuccessful.
