Families affected by an electrical shock at a Houston baseball field have filed a $25 million lawsuit targeting the city of Houston, CenterPoint Energy, Times Construction, Little League Baseball and Lindale Summer Baseball.

In September, two young girls and a grandfather were shocked at Moody Park in north Houston, according to a report from https://abc13.com.

The girls were doing push-ups when their parents said one of them suddenly made contact with an electrical box, injuring both of them. When the girls’ grandfather attempted to help, he also was shocked.

According to a statement issued by the city, “"All ground cover boxes at Moody have been inspected for safety and their replacement has begun with work to be completed as soon as possible."
