James R. White, training director for Shermco Industries, has been appointed to be the principal member of NFPA Code Making Panel 13 of the National Electrical Code. He will represent the interNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA).
White has a long and distinguished career in the electrical industry and has held a wide range of industry chairs and posts. He authored "Electrical Safety: A Practical Guide to OSHA and NFPA 70E," published last year by American Technical Publishers. The book is a comprehensive overview of electrical safety in the workplace, and is written as a course text with an instructor's guide and workbook also available.
