Despite the extreme challenges of the pandemic, EC&M's 2021 Top 50 Electrical Contractors managed to boost revenue as a collective group again this year, hitting a total of more than $34 billion in 2020, up from $32.7 billion in 2019. For the fifth straight year, data center/mission critical construction and health care held their places as the top two markets bringing in the greatest dollar volume of projects in 2020, followed by manufacturing, transportation, and renewable energy. Take a look at some of the innovative project photos sent in by Top 50 companies, representing the diverse scope of work that helped many of this year's group reach record revenue levels once again.
