With the skilled worker shortage looming in the construction industry, The UP Companies (UPCO) is taking action to bring new employees on board. Here are three ways the company and a construction industry association are promoting careers in the trades.
Create a music video.UPCO partnered with Howard “Chingy” Bailey Jr., a hip-hop recording artist, to produce a parody song based on “Old Town Road.” The company, which has three different business units, was looking for a new and fun way to reach out to community members about job openings. Michael B.
