Belden CDT, Inc., Color Kinetics, Inc., iLight Technologies, Stanley Consultants
  • St. Louis, Mo.-based Belden CDT, Inc. recently dropped the CDT from its name. The company hopes the change will unify its corporate identity with its flagship brand: Belden.
  • Boston-based Color Kinetics, Inc. and Chicago-based iLight Technologies, Inc. recently formed an alliance through which iLight will license Color Kinetics' patent portfolio to add color-changing offerings to its LED-based product lines. This includes the Plexineon RGB Series, as well as future products.
  • City Utilities of Springfield, Mo., recently retained Muscatine, Iowa-based Stanley Consultants to design a new 300MW coal-fired electric-generating power plant. The $697 million state-of-the-art unit will use a pulverized coal steam generator with a selective catalytic reduction system, spray dry absorber, and baghouse for emissions control.
