Chloride North America, Libertyville, Ill., recently expanded its single- and three-phase UPS system test facility, located within company headquarters. Test capability at the facility, in terms of throughput as well as system size and complexity, now makes it capable of testing multiple 750kVA UPS modules.

The aim of the expansion was to allow local customers to validate UPS performance first-hand and determine interoperability with other power system hardware, explains Chuck Heller, a product manager for Chloride, who helped spearhead the project.
