Portland, Ore-based EC Company and five IBEW Local 280 electricians contributed nearly $40,000 in labor and materials to illuminate the Afghan-Iraqi Freedom Memorial on the Capitol Mall in Salem, Ore. EC Company donated time and labor to install and wire the memorial's massive electrical system and refurbish the surrounding area.

Electrical suppliers Eaton Electric, North Coast Electric, Eoff Electric Supply, Crescent Electric, and Platt Electric Supply donated the remainder of the necessary materials.
