Although work for many electrical contractors has ground to a halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Alex Towery, owner of Towery Electric in San Rafael, Calif., has decided to keep his 15 electricians on the payroll, according to a news report from www.nbcbayarea.com.

Instead of practicing the trade for which they were trained, the electricians are grocery shopping for local senior citizens and other community members with medical issues.
