The Five Lowest-Paying States for Electricians: 2024

Once again, electricians in Arkansas see the lowest average wages compared to electricians in other states across the United States, according to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Once again, Arkansas takes the No. 1 spot when it comes to the lowest overall compensation for electricians in the United States, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) in its “Occupational Employment and Wages, May 2024 Study.” Idaho dropped out of the bottom five ranking list, with Mississippi joining the lineup.
