According to a recent report from the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA), there are more connected devices than there are human beings on the planet. And this isn’t solely coming from smartphones, tablets, or computers. Millions of other devices now have IP addresses as well. In fact, NCTA estimates show that there will be more than 50 billion connected devices by 2020.
