IES Announces Speakers for 2020 Virtual SALC

Event takes place online from October 26 to 28.

The Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) recently announced the line-up of speakers and presenters for its 2020 Virtual Street & Area Lighting Conference (SALC). Presentations include “2020 National Electrical Code Changes That Impact Outdoor Lighting” presented by Christopher DeWaal; “An Investigation of LED Street Lighting Conversions and Roadway Safety” from Jason Tuenge; “Bridging the Gap: Facilitating Cooperation in Wireless Telecommunications” by David Witkowski; and more. The 2020 Virtual SALC takes place from October 26 to 28, with official times to be announced shortly. Registration is $299 for IES members and $399 for non-members, with reduced rates for emerging professionals (EPs) and student members. There will be no SALC educational Sunday courses offered this year. Additionally, all registrants will be able to access the recorded sessions at no extra cost.
