LEDucation 2022 Call for Speakers Now Open
The Designers Lighting Forum of New York (DLFNY) recently announced it is currently accepting presentation proposals for its 2022 LEDucation program. The upcoming LEDucation Trade Show and Conference is set for March 15 to 16, 2022, at the New York Hilton Midtown in New York City and will offer a hybrid (live and on-demand) educational program.
“Based on the positive response from the local and global attendees at our virtual conferences, the Presentations Committee would like to continue the same quality educational program for those who cannot attend in person,” states Wendy Kaplan and Craig Fox, LEDucation Presentations Committee co-chairs.
LEDucation provides comprehensive presentations including panel discussions, practical case studies, and deep dives into topics exploring emerging issues. The two-day conference attracts a broad audience from around the globe, including lighting and architectural professionals, researchers, students, and many allied professionals. All sessions are AIA CES–approved.
DLFNY is seeking proposals from lighting industry experts in the following categories: codes and compliance issues; lighting for health and well-being; lighting design tools, communication, metrics, and methodologies; the business of lighting in different market sectors; and emerging LED, OLED, and controls technologies.
Submissions are due by Oct. 31, 2021, and can be submitted to this form. For additional submission information and requirements, visit the LEDucation website. Past presentations can be found in the LEDucation archives.
