A new trade show, Light + Intelligent Building North America, will make its debut March 15-18, 2027 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, combining architectural lighting, connected controls, software and building systems integration under a single roof.
Organised by Messe Frankfurt Inc. alongside the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) and the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), the event aims to serve lighting industry professionals including architects, engineers and specifiers, while also bringing in building-technology stakeholders such as system integrators, IT/OT teams, facility operators and utilities.
The show is positioned as a “next-gen” successor to LightFair, retaining that event’s design-and-lighting focus but expanding into systems integration, controls, cybersecurity, commissioning, analytics, and whole-building performance.
Exhibits will be organised into three zones — Lighting, Building Technology, and Accessories — and will be supported by a multi-track conference covering lighting design & installation, codes & standards, health & wellness, integration, decarbonisation, BIM, digital twins, and related topics.
Exhibitor sales open in January 2026, with early-commit pricing available until March 16. Registration for attendees will open in October 2026.
More details and registration info can be found in the press release.
