Matrix Air EC Motor Filter
The Matrix Air EC Motor Filter is designed to mitigate harmonics that are produced by electronically commutated motors (ECMs). It is optimized for HVAC-R and data center cooling applications and can also be used anywhere ECMs are installed. The filter resolves harmonic issues that can degrade and pollute lineside power quality, causing nuisance tripping, equipment to overheat, and problems with electrical utilities. It provides greater stability across fan speed ranges, allowing ECMs to operate at full speed and higher efficiency.
