The SpecSeal Ready split sleeve is designed for firestopping existing electrical telephone delete comma or data cabling passing through rated or non-rated walls. This UL -classified firestop sleeve is half the weight of threaded products, according to the company, and requires no field fabrication. It is supplied in a ready-to-install kit including: a 12-in.-long 12 in. long steel split sleeve available in 1-, 2-, or 4-in. diameter 1 in., 2 in., or 4 in., diameter; corresponding sized steel split escutcheon plates that lock the device in place; and SpecSeal firestop putty to seal the ends of the sleeve to the required 1-in. 1 in. depth.
