Rexel acquires Capitol Light and Supply

The company expects its sales volume to increase by 10%

Dallas-based Rexel recently acquired Hartford, Conn.-based Capitol Light and Supply Co. Capitol Light and Supply achieved sales of approximately $234 million in 2005 and employs 415 workers at 22 branch locations in five states — Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.

The acquisition is expected to close before the end of June 2006, pending governmental approvals.
