Houston-based Integrated Electrical Services recently announced it has been awarded a contract from Alliance Construction Solutions, Cheyenne, Wyo., to upgrade the electrical systems at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center in Cheyenne, Wyo.
Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, a 222-bed regional facility, is Wyoming's largest health care system, providing comprehensive services for patients from southeast Wyoming, northern Colorado, western Nebraska, and communities throughout Wyoming. IES will install incoming electrical services, generators, and emergency equipment to enhance normal power service and upgrade the medical center's existing emergency power systems. The project is expected to be completed in November 2011.
"Alliance selected IES because of its knowledge and experience with similar installations and its willingness to partner with Alliance and the project owner for the benefit of the Cheyenne community," says Scott Brelsford, project manager with Alliance Construction. "Its value engineering suggestions have helped to create savings in the project's budget and will allow the medical center to further improve the quality of care provided."
"IES has a history of success with health care projects and in translating our experience and expertise into meaningful solutions for our clients," says Michael Caliel, president and CEO of IES. "Our ability to provide safe and reliable project execution delivered through a structured project management approach and effective supply chain management is critical as the need for timely and affordable healthcare continues to gain in importance. Ultimately, we are honored to be able to help in expanding care services for this growing community."
