TDLR Waiving Requirements for Some Licensees
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), based in Austin, Texas, recently announced it is waiving requirements for some licensees to help them available to assist with combating the spread of COVID-19. As part of its actions, TDLR is waiving continuing education requirements for licenses expiring in March, April, and May 2020. Licensees will still submit their renewable applications, pay required fees, and have criminal histories checked, but they will not need to complete any required continuing education requirements this licensing cycle.
