Meet EC&M Subject Matter Expert Harold De Loach

Oct. 12, 2023
Editor-in-Chief Ellen Parson talks trends with longtime electrical training contributor at recent NECA trade show.

One of the highlights from this year’s NECA event in Philadelphia for me was meeting EC&M’s longtime contributor Harold De Loach in person. In this quick video, I wanted to pick his brain on the latest trends as well as introduce him to all of you. A master electrician and electrical trainer/instructor, Harold is the founder of The Academy of Industrial Arts (TAIA) in Philadelphia, so the show was in his backyard. He is also the director of education and training for www.necprepclass.com, which provides electrical license preparation courses for the city of Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley Allentown, Pa., areas.

Reporting from the exhibit floor, here’s a snapshot of the key trends Harold identified at this year’s event. For more content from Harold, subscribe to our free E-Train newsletter.
