In support of May being Electrical Safety Month, we not only want you to be safe at work, but we want you to think about being safe when you’re enjoying the great outdoors too. Keeping an eye to the sky is important when the weather starts to change.
In a recent study, the National Weather Service analyzed lightning deaths in the United States from 2006 to 2013. Among the 261 victims over this time period, nearly two-thirds were struck and killed while enjoying outdoor leisure activities. Some of the activities that topped the list might surprise you.
