By and large, electrical design firms responding to this year's Top 40 survey reported a return to normalcy, following the uncertain times brought about by the pandemic over the last few years. Besides facing hurdles such as inflation, combating delayed or canceled projects, dealing with supply chain issues, and recruiting/retaining top talent amid the ongoing skilled labor shortage, Top 40 firms managed to exceed last year's total revenue number as a collective group by 13%, reaching $3.167 billion.
