NECA/IBEW Local 145 Offers Hands-On Apprentice Training

Oct. 17, 2019
Quad City Electrical Training Center in Illinois provides on-the-job training and classroom education for local apprentices.

Although vocational tech programs may be viewed as an alternative to college for high school students interested in entering the skilled trades, that doesn’t mean they don’t emphasize hitting the books.

According to a recent report from WQAD in Moline, Ill., electrical apprentices from NECA/IBEW 145 attend evening lectures and labs at the Quad City Electrical Training Center.

For more information on the program, read the original report or watch video.
