Portland, Ore.-based BlueVolt recently announced the expansion of its platform into new fields with the release of BICSI-designed data communications courses.

Portland, Ore.-based BlueVolt recently announced the expansion of its platform into new fields with the release of BICSI-designed data communications courses. The series of courses covers data communications subjects, including Ethernet technologies; LAN standards; network storage, security, and management; data center layout and design; firestopping; and Internet Protocol Infrastructure.

“By adding the data communications category to the BlueVolt catalog, we deliver more training to more skilled professionals,” says Gene Mills, director of curriculum and training at BlueVolt. “We are proud to offer high-quality instruction for the dynamic field of data networking and communication and design standards. BICSI is recognized around the world and is a leader in developing those standards.
