Indiana, Minnesota adopt 2002 NEC

Nine months after its release, the 2002 NEC is only two states away from nationwide adoption. Minnesota and Indiana are the two latest states to adopt the NFPA standard for electrical safety. The NEC was adopted by the state of Minnesota and written into its State Building Code, while Indiana’s Department of Fire and Building Services was the agency in the Hoosier state to apply the standard. Both had been using the 1999 Code.
