The highest-paying U.S. cities for electrical engineers were a bit more evenly distributed across the country in 2019, according to the latest numbers released from the Bureau of Labor Statistics in its "Occupational Employment and Wages, May 2019 Study." Most of the locations included on this list will come as no surprise. What may be surprising, however, is that perpetual front-runner California declined by two slots from 2018 to 2019. Nevertheless, the Golden State remained the golden child, nabbing four spots on the Top 10 list. One factor to keep in mind is that cost of living is not taken into consideration, which definitely can make a difference.
