Across the United States, electrical engineers can earn competitive wages no matter where they call home – however, you may want to consider moving to one of these 10 cities if you’re looking to potentially increase your income. It’s no surprise that five of the top 10 highest-paying cities are in California, based on statistics from the Bureau of Labor Statistic’s “Occupational Wages and Employment, May 2022” study, which also ranked California as the highest-paying state for electrical engineers. Non-California cities that offer higher-than-average compensation for electrical engineers include Albuquerque, N.M; Austin/Round Rock, Texas; Logan, Utah; Boulder, Colo; and Baton Rouge, La.
