NEMA Publishes ANSI-Approved Motors and Generators Standard

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) standard for motors and generators recently received approval from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). ANSI/NEMA MG 1-2011, "Motors and Generators" conveys practical information concerning performance, safety, test, construction, and manufacture of AC and DC motors and generators. This standard assists users in the proper selection and application of motors and generators.
