Elecworks electrical CAD software enables users to integrate electrical schematics into their existing SolidWorks CAD platform as an add-on. According to the company, this latest version offers improved automatic generation for PLCs, allowing users to add information about I/O on each channel to be wired. In addition, the software includes automatic and wiring within SolidWorks, eliminating the need to select one-by-one start and end point couples. Other product features include compatibility advantages such as the possibility to adopt or re-use existing SolidWorks assemblies as well as an integrated wizard to manage and cross-grade AutoCAD and AutoCAD electrical drawings.
