The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) recently released two new installations standards updates. National Electrical Installation Standards, developed by NECA in partnership with several industry organizations, define the actions needed to perform an installation in a “net and workmanlike” manner. The following updated procedures are now available:

• NECA 331-2020, Standard for Installing Building and Service Entrance Grounding and Bonding, describes installation procedures for building and service entrance grounding, as well as building interior and exterior bonding and grounding.
• NECA 402-2020, Standard for Installing and Maintaining Motor Control Centers, describes installation procedures for building and service entrance grounding, as well as building interior and exterior bonding and grounding.
